As co-publisher, I owned and managed large operations and have over 30 years of experience in the newspaper and magazine business. I developed five weekly newspapers/shoppers, in the southern Milwaukee metro market, with a circulation of 135,000 homes per week, along with a monthly Hispanic publication which was distributed to 10,000 homes. I gained valuable first-hand and in-depth knowledge of running every aspect in a newspaper business successfully, during a recession. Our business employed 28 full time employees. In 1995, we sold our publications to Thomson Newspapers.
Prior to our move to Florida, I was initially recruited as a consultant for a large newspaper company to develop a strategic marketing plan to stem operating losses in major metro markets. In the same year, they hired me as Operations Director. My responsibilities included driving revenue for 41 locations throughout Wisconsin, Florida and Ohio.
As co-publisher I draw from my extensive experience in Customer Service, with 25 years at a large Insurance Company in Wisconsin, to bring a strong customer focus to the table.
Together we work tirelessly to establish a personal working relationship and provide a product tailored to each community.
